After the Last Performance

In order to keep himself sharp during such an arduous run, Takashima was forced to avoid drinking, smoking, etc. Daisai Ru took pity on him, and gave Takashima a sake glass he made himself, saying, "After all this is over, pour yourself a drink in this glass." The show ended and Takashima, being a man of his word, drank like a fish...and gained 5 kilos. |
